Re: Using git in PASE

I think git came from a set of AIX binaries that were originally hosted internally by IBM and have now been released at the Young i Professionals site:

The wiki has several areas but if you click on the PASE link at the wiki site (on the left) and then select the "Open Source Binaries" and then the "RPM List" link (both of which are embedded in text descriptions) it should get you there. Git is part of a package and since you probably have already installed many of the applications yourself, you probably are going to have a bit of a challenge installing only git. I believe that it is the same version that is found here: https://www-03.ibm.com/systems/p/os/aix/linux/toolbox/alpha.html so perhaps you can just grab the RPG from that site and install it.

Other than that, I am not sure where else you can git git.
