Folks,

First off, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I don't have access to the archives. So I apologize for asking before searching.

I have a field on a display screen where the user enters a pin number. As the user keys in the pin number, we would like to display asterisks in place of what she is typing. I know that I can split the pin number into four separate fields, and use the check(ER) to send the data to my program one character at a time and translate it to a '*', but I was hoping there was an easier way to accomplish this.

Thanks
