SNADS Fails with Messages CPFAFA0 and CPFAF82
Incident Summary

Problem Summary:
When trying to use SNADS ( SNDNETF , SNDNETSPLF , SNDNETMSG , and so on),
the application fails with an error message CPFAFA0 and message CPFAF82,
reason code 01.

Resolution:
The messages indicate errors with the MSF (Mail Server Framework) internal
message index. This can be caused by the autostart job entry, QZMFECOX, in
subsystem QSYSWRK, missing from the subsystem description. To check this,
use DSPSBSD SBSD(QSYSWRK) , Option 3. Check for the following entry:

Job Job Description Library
QZMFECOX QZMFEJBD QSYS

If this is missing, check the following items:

o Display the object description service attributes for subsystem
QSYSWRK, using the following command:

DSPOBJD OBJ(QSYSWRK) OBJTYPE(*SBSD)

Press the Enter key, and select Option 8.
o Ensure the System Level is the same level as the operating system. If
it is not, load the subsystem description from PID or from installation
media.
o The missing autostart job entry for QZMFECOX can be manually added to
the QSYSWRK subsystem description using the following command:

ADDAJE SBSD(QSYS/QSYSWRK) JOB(QZMFECOX) JOBD(QSYS/QZMFEJBD)

Press the Enter key.

Note: The subsystem QSYSWRK must be ended and restarted for this change to
take effect.
o If the subsystem cannot be ended and restarted, determine if the QMSF
job in subsystem QSYSWRK is active. If it is not, use the STRMSF command
to start the job. This will also allow the index to be built and correct
the SNADS error.
