Hi Scott,

Many thanks. That problem was cured by installing Java which I had not done.
Now I cannot get into IBM Web Administration for iSeries as I get the
message *ZUI_50004: OS/400 user profile RobDixon does not have *IOSYSCFG
authority which is required to use the administration interface of IBM HTTP
Server for iSeries. *I can find no reference to that error message.

As I said in my previous post, this could be because I found that I didn't
have any PTFs on my install media. It does seem so very basic a problem.

Hopefully I will be able to find some PTFs somewhere and that will fix the
problem.

Best wishes

Rob Dixon

Hello,

3025 means "file or directory not found". Presumably, it's saying that
www/iwadft/conf/httpd.conf is not found.

the fact that that this is a relative link (doesn't start at the root
directory) seems very odd to me. Is this truly a fresh install, or are
you running on DASD that someone might've left some bad configuration
behind on?

Or, is there a place where you keyed this path name in?

Thanks Ian.

I tried that but I got the message
HTP8029 Error occurred opening file www/iwadft/conf/httpd.conf. the
HTTP
server did not start - error number 3025

This is presumably because I have not yet configured the HTTP server.
However, despite this, when I pointed the browser to http://192.168.0.7,
I
did get

"the sample home page for the APACHEDFT server", so the HTTP server is
running.

When I went back to http://192.168.0.7:2001 I got the same message as
before.

Any further ideas?

Rob Dixon
