Many thanks. I created a new user profile with every type of authority
including *IOSYSCFG but, when I tried to start IBM Web Administration for
iSeries, I still got the same message saying *ZUI_50004: OS/400 user profile
RobDixon does not have *IOSYSCFG authority which is required to use the
administration interface of IBM HTTP Server for iSeries. *I can find no
reference to that error message.
That user profile definitely does have *IOSYSCFG authority. I get this
message with whichever profile I use. I said when I started this thread on
Saturday morning that I found that my install media didn't have any PTFs and
that I wasn't sure how I would get them, particularly at the weekend.
Unless anyone has experienced this problem before and knows of another
reason, I have to assume that installing these will fix the problem.
Do you know if there is a way of configuring up the HTTP server through a
5250?
