Yes, there's still a sev 20 error, but the command does get created.

Here's what I ended up using:

parm kwd(SCDDATE) type(*DATE) min(0) max(1) +
prompt('Scheduled Date') dft(*CURRENT) +
spcval((*CURRENT 01010001))

parm kwd(SCDTIME) type(*TIME) min(0) max(1) +
prompt('Scheduled Time') dft(*CURRENT) +
spcval((*CURRENT 999999))

This command source compiles for me (haven't written the command processing
program for it to test it):

CMD PROMPT('Test *CURRENT date & time')
PARM KWD(MYDATE) +
TYPE(*DATE) +
DFT(*CURRENT) +
SPCVAL((*CURRENT 000100))
PARM KWD(MYTIME) +
TYPE(*TIME) +
DFT(*CURRENT) +
SPCVAL((*CURRENT 999999))

Does that work for you?

Subject: Re: Create command with Date parameter that allows *CURRENT special
value

Elvis,

That doesn't appear to work.

The command won't compile. I've seen two different errors depending
on what I try. CPD0271 - Special value not valid or CPD0257 - value
not a valid date.

I'm having the same problem on a time parameter, but with that one
I've only ever seen CPD0271.
