Yes it does. That modifies the number listed for the controller QESCTL (18005252834). That is a good number as well, or at least there's a modem at the other end.

Another number listed in the Q1PCTL controller description (18005475497) answers with a modem. So I still haven't found the bad number.

I thought it might be obtainable via Operations Navigator. There's an option to test the connection in the Service Agent under Extreme Support. That test failed - it did dial out, didn't sound good. I'm now trying to figure out how to find that number it's dialing.
