RE: FTP Questions/Problems

I can do it fine from my PC but I want this process automated so that's
why it's on the iSeries so I need to put that entry in option 12. Does
that take placed immediately or fairly immediately (i.e. no ending TCP
and restarting it) ?

You should be able to use the URL - but you have to have a DNS specified
in the TCP/IP config, or have it in your hosts table - don't do that -
heh!!!

I think option 12 of GO TCPCFG should be where you put the DNS address
for resolving URLs - check with your network folks, or look at the setup
on your PC.
