Just to make sure we are on the same page.

You can use your DST/SST Userid to change passwords for any user id
in SST/DST which includes QSECOFR.



BTW, I always create a few DST/SST user ids on every one of my
customers machines, so when they eventually screw up the DST/SST QSECOFR
password (and their own SST/DST userid), I can always VPN in and get them
out of a jam.

We also don't often have to mess with CHGDSTPWD. I got tired of the boss
fubaring up the QSECOFR SST password so I added another account into SST
for me and gave all the authorities. Not sure if SST logs anything (like
QHST stuff) but why should there be one shared generic user id for SST? I
can use my login to change the password for QSECOFR in SST. And, not have
to worry about previous passwords and that rot. Sort of like the
difference between CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(...) PASSWORD(...) and CHGPWD
