I think what it's telling you that DDIVSN is not a primary key or a unique
constraint. It has to have one those type of constraints if you're going to
create a foreign constraint that references it. Here is how you could
remedy it:

Option 1:
ALTER TABLE dxplibx/DORDIVSN ADD PRIMARY KEY (DDIVSN)
Option 2:
ALTER TABLE dxplibx/DORDIVSN ADD UNIQUE (DDIVSN)

Subject: SQL Referential Integrity issue with a foreign key

I am trying to alter a sql table in which one of the fields is tied to a
field in another file (which happens to be a DDS defined PF) I keep
getting an error that says the following:

Table HAZMFTCTL in DXGLIBX does not have a matching parent key.

Here is the code from STRSQL, if someone can provide some assistance I
would be most appreciative.

ALTER TABLE DXGLIBX/HAZMFTCTL ADD CONSTRAINT FORCONST FOREIGN KEY
(HAZDC) REFERENCES dxplibx/DORDIVSN (DDIVSN) ON DELETE NO ACTION
