I think it's silly that we have to do it, is all. All of this
technology, and you can't do a reply-to and change the subject. Maybe
it's not "too much" of a burden, but there's no reason it should be a
burden at all.

As an old geezer, I see advantages to retaining the current
scheme until we have better DWIM technology.

There can be good reasons to change subject within the same
thread. An example would be a focus on one aspect of the
previous posting. More work, yes, but helpful to the
readers. (Okay, I am back to the body <grin />.)
