That is the EGL. All of it. Runtime is an EGL supplied class.
Let's see the same for the RPG.

So we're going to play this game huh? What I have shown is a generically
developed/reusable piece of code for the RPG language.

There is no "game", Aaron. I showed the native EGL code required to invoke an HTML page from a URL stored in a string, and return an array of the TD elements. I asked for the same in RPG.

What's your gripe Joe? Are you disappointed that RPG can hide complexities
the same as EGL? That fact that both approaches cost money? The fact that
neither are open source?
If you want to use your own private functions, fine, but as they say in school, "show your work".

I posted the RPG code in it's entirety in relation to how much EGL code you
included. You neglected to post the definition of the handler or any "class
encapsulating" syntax, so I thought we weren't dealing with semantics but
instead showing relevant code.
What's that got to do with anything? When you're showing the code for a CHAIN, you show the CHAIN, not the file definition or the D-spec for the key field.

I can most definitely/obviously provide the
entire program. Here you go:

H dftactgrp(*no) bnddir('MYBND')

/copy rxs,RXSCp
Nope. You have to show us the code from rxs/RXSCp

I am willing to move on if you are. Ball is in your court.
Nope. You have to show us how to do this in RPG. Simple enough. This is like pulling teeth. It's like dealing with a recalcitrant four-year old, and I know whereof I speak.

One more time we'll try it, and if you're incapable of even this simple response, then it's obvious that the rest of the conversation is fruitless.

Joe
