So, I use GMAIL for pop and SMTP, even from my System i.

For some reason today my MAILTOOL utility gave my SSL Certificate Expired
errors when it was trying to send emails using Gmails email service.

I frantically looked at all my CAs and they are all fine. I checked the
certs on smtp.gmail.com and noticed that their cert expires tommorow (July
29th, 2008).

That's the only thing I could think of what it was as it's been running fine
for years.

I checked the system values for date, time, offset, etc.. everything looks
good. Are there any other date/time settings somewhere that I could be
missing? May have to search for PTFs.

But, it's also hard to believe google would have a cert ready to expire that
soon on their system.
