We have serveral pc's in the shop.
When tring to access the iseries IFS i do
the following in windows xp pro:
Start/run \\126.96.36.199 <file:///\\188.8.131.52>
On some pc's it brings up the list of folders on the iseries. On other
I get a "connecting to" logon screen requiring userid and password. After
entering a valid iseries userid and password, it just returns the same
I tried this process on server pc's with the same network and iseries
Some pc's work fine. Other don't work at all.
On one of the PC's where it rejects the userid and password and redisplays
the logon screen, try again using the systemname/username (as if you were
logging in with domain/user) instead of just the user name. This technique
has worked for me in the past...
