Yes, the things I give up to travel to Rochester. Hopefully Kathy
wasn't a lot of trouble. We will be upgrading to V7 soon this summer.
I've not used it yet but have seen enough demos to make me very very
interested. Glad to hear that you are happy with it.

I've thought about the same thing with a dedicated station. Sametime is
a great idea. Now, if I could figure out whether the network weenies
would like that.....

If a pretty poster and a cute saying are all it takes to motivate you,
you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.

Missed you yesterday in Indy. :-)
That remote access is awesome! Never tried WebSM prior to V7 of HMC.
With
V7 of HMC it's just simple browser and no client software needed (other
than browser). That's bodacious! And being able to pass system console

over to IBM with a remote connection (Like WebEx) to my laptop is very
darn cool.

IBM needs to give their CE's a WebEx tool, and do it NOW! And we'd
avoid
having to have the CE drive here to check out STRSST and Serviceable
Events onsite to have to then order parts and drive back to the home
office.
I'm already thinking, what the heck, we have Sametime. Why not have a
dedicated PC with the browser session and shared console session(s), log

them all into SST, fire up a sametime meeting, turn control of that PC
over to the CE and tell the CE to have their way with it.
