Hi All: I have a client who wants to FTP a file compressed using
TRSMAIN. I have not used this program so any advice will be greatly
appreciated. Can this program be run on the OS400? From what I read it
is for a zOS system. Does anyone know what kind of space requirements I
need to unpack the file and what kind of strain the process will put on
the system? Any other information or help anyone can give me will be
welcomed. I think I can download the program from an IBM site and there
are examples to follow to run it, but the documentation is only for
mainframes so I don't know if this is of any use to me.

Googling it online says it is a Mainframe program only. Also, looks like
the format is proprietary. You could try opening the file with Winzip or
Flzip. If they can open it, so can the unzips on the 400.
