I just looked at my own system reply list and both of our systems have these same generic messages, sequence numbers, etc. And I'll guarantee you that I never put them there (model 520's that I set up after delivery - no one else knows how to or about the reply list here).

It seems that these came with the system, as delivered. That, anyway, is the only explanation possible with our systems.

Issue at this shop is that with the autoreply list set to D)ump all RPG
and CPA messages the developer group never really knows when something
fails unless the user says something. No one actually reviews qsysopr
message queue so all looks fine and dandy.

Hey, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does
it make a sound?

What do others have in their sysrepl?

These messages appear to be a default on a new system. It seems
rather extensive. There are catch-all messages.

10 CPA0700 D *NONE
20 RPG0000 D *NONE
30 CBE0000 D *NONE
40 PLI0000 D *NONE

What is the rationale?
