Under file/printer setup, make sure that you have a check in the box
next to "use windows default printer". If the box is checked and you are
still having problems, you can try the following:

This is for version V5R4 of iSeries Access for Windows, but I believe
that it will work for most versions.

1.) Unselect "use windows default printer".
2.) Put a check in the box next to "use PDT".
3.) Click on the "select PDT button".
4.) Select a PDT definition that matches the printer you are using. If
your printer is not listed, most lasers are able to use the hppcl5.pdt.

I know I have had this problem in the past and can't recall how I got
it
fixed. In the emulator, when I hit the print button all that comes out
of
the printer is a tiny line. How do you fix this? I just installed the
latest
Service Pack, but haven't tried it since then.
