4x 70GB 15kRPM 3.5" SAS Drives (2996 CHF each)

Each 4 drives? Each drive? I see these drives at $498 US list. Even
at 4 x and assuming a unfavorable currency conversion I can't come to
$2996.

Although I can't come to 4x 70GB 15kRPM 2.5" SAS Drives (890 CHF each)
either.

Subject: POWER6 Pricing for Small Businesses vs. System x / SBS Pricing

Hi,

I've been rambling about the prices of the new POWER6 machines in
other threads, without having definite POWER6 before me.

I've pushed a few buttons today in order to get my hands on prices for
POWER6 machines - all prices listed are in CHF.

The prices are aligned for 3Y, with Support and Software Upgrade
Rights. It also includes basic development and compiler tools.

Necessary software to provide print functionality like full page
control, overlays, etc. are also included in the basic software.

A Database with web based reporting tools is also included. Pricing is
based on 10 users.

Software comparison is not exactly fair - SBS includes Microsoft
Exchange, while the IBM i does not include Lotus Notes. On the other
hand, SBS does not have all the IBM i capabilities, so i think it will
even out.

All Prices are list prices.

According to Google:
1 Swiss franc = 0.949487 US$ (Wow, that was different a few years ago).

IBM i:
