Hi,

Are you returning the fields into a data structure or single fields?
There might be a conversion error with small integer / integer and big
integer fields.
If a data structure is used the fields are used as defined, i.e. integer
fields are not converted into packed ones.
If single fields are used, the integer fields may be converted into packed
and therefore the host variables cannot hold the complete valid range.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Midrangers,

When I used the '*' to select all records in my embedded-SQL, the program
ran normally and produced data with no errors. Using the individual fields
I get the error described earlier.

Why is that?
