The thing you have to keep in mind is that, contrary to lore, prostitution
is NOT legal in Vegas...and they do a lot of stings there...

One of the NOC directors for a group downtown DC was driving into work at
10:30pm...stopped at a light to make a turn, had a really stunning girl come
up and knock on his window, initiate the conversation, initiate the offer
and next thing he knew he was on his way to jail. Generally it's refered to
as entrapment when a cop creates a crime scenario that someone wouldn't be
in under normal circumstances, but in DC, doing everything they can to lure
you into a crime scenario, then arrest you at the slightest earliest
opportunity is how they do business here...so, if you're ever wondering why
DC arrest numbers are so high...well... :)

He got lucky and didn't have jail time, but others were getting 60days for
the same busts....Welcome to DC...

Goats....Hmmm............

Funny you mention that, Richard:

(Not the goats...)

One of my coworkers just returned from a software vendor's conference in Las

Vegas. One night she was hanging out with some of the vendor's guys at the
bar in one of the casinos, and a hooker was hitting hard on one of the guys.

My friend (who is rather naove) struck up a conversion with the
lady-of-the-night while this was going on. The hooker asked her "Have you
ever been arrested for what you do?", and my friend replied "I didn't know
that programming was illegal!"...
