Thanks in advance for any advice. Each night we back up one directory in the
IFS which contains about 400,000 objects. It takes about 45 minutes to the
second every night using a 3581 L23 drive. 2 nights ago, I decided to start
backing up 2 other much smaller NON-IBM directories (about 200 objects
total). I expected the backup to run maybe a few additional minutes but lo
and behold, it went from 45 minutes to about 5 hours. I'm going back to my
original backup tonight but has anyone seen this before? In addition, can
anyone tell me which part of the IFS is backed up with a complete system
save?
