Since you have AD, you can install CA through GPO's, and setup the
environment with a login script.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm pretty sure that we don't have/use Samba,
but we do have/use AD. Not sure what SID is, but the old PC's will be
taken off of the network (i.e., not recycled here for any purpose;
i.e.,
thrown in the trash bin - figuratively speaking).
