Since reloading my laptop with V5R4 with Navigator, accessing our
iSeries' file shares are problematic. If I go to the shares in Navigator
and map a drive from there, it works fine. If I map to the share in
Windows Explorer (without using Navigator), none of the upper or lower
case combinations of user name and password are accepted. Under V5R2 and
prior to reloading, I could specify my ID and password in upper case.
I tried searching the archives but did not see any "file shares for
dummies" posts.
