That's interesting. I think I saw that plugin a while ago but didn't want to have to get the user passed through our security and auditors. I have just been doing a telnet monitor from nagios to ensure the system is usable.

Installing the plugin on the Nagios server side did the trick! Up and
monitoring the System i from Nagios.
