Well, this is GA date for V6R1. Frankly, I wouldn't rush to it. I can't
see how it would have been properly tested when many of the software
vendors haven't got off their duff. If the vendors don't make their stuff
V6R1 compliant, how can the testing companies upgrade and test out the OS?
- Still waiting for Softlanding and KDP to settle their squabble and get
me a copy of Set/Turn that passes ANZOBJCVN.
- Just got a tech alert from Mimix that they won't be ready for V6R1 until
April 11. Let me guess, new company probably cut R&D? That would be sad
because they used to brag of such a tight working relationship with IBM,
right down the street in Rochester and all that rot.
