OK, here's a head scratcher.

I've got two service programs ... both have binder source with signatures specified.

This service program is invoked via PCML from a java application running on a PC.

I got the following error in the QZRCSRVS that the PCML call used.

MCH4431 - Program signature violation.

The source program IMWD specifies a signature X'C9D4E2E5C3E3C1D7F0F1404040404040' which is not supported by service program IMSVCTAP.

Program IMWD does indeed reference service program IMSVCTAP, and the service program info is this:

Service
Program Library Signature
IMSVCTAP *LIBL C9D4E2E5C3E3C1D7F0F1404040404040

Service program IMSVCTAP has a 'current export signature' of C9D4E2E5C3E3C1D7F0F1404040404040 which is the only signature it has.

There don't appear to be any stray instances of the IMWD or IMSVCTAP service programs that could be getting invoked.

I can't figure out why I'm getting a signature violation.

Any suggestions?

FWIW: The QZRCSRVS job is stuck in a "Joblog Pending" status ... even though, as far as I can tell, it was not ended abnormally. I've tried ending it immediately but it won't budge.

Thanks!

david
