I remember talking with a Terry somebody, I think, who was pulling together the disparate sources of information at IBM - and it was his work that became the improved search - some of you might remember me running his praises up and down this list about that time, Steve. But it sounds like someone went nuts and really messed up this "improvement"

In 2003 (IIRC) I was a participant in a Rochester focus group tasked with
"improving" the Information Center. One thing that I noted during our
discussions was that I had basically given up on using the Info Center
search function.

I still mostly use Google to search for AS/400 - iSeries - System i stuff,
specifying site:ibm.com in the search, and when necessary I used the
advanced search page, specifying in the "at least one of the words" box the
words AS/400, iSeries, and "System i" to refine my searches.
