If I define a MY_HOME variable as '/MyHomeFolder' and then use it in a CLASSPATH variable like so:

$MY_HOME/lib/myjar.jar

If I set the variables as above and then run the echo $CLASSPATH command within QSH then I see this:

echo $CLASSPATH
'$MY_HOME/lib/myjar.jar'

I expected to see:

'/MyHomeFolder/lib/myjar.jar'

Maybe the quoting is causing the problem? I think that single quotes escape the $ in QSH.
