The "plug-in" is built into Excel.
"If " Excel exists on the pc when you load V5r4(Access), it will
"add" that feature to Excel. You then have a button that allows you
to transfer data either way in Excel. Nice and clean.
That paragraph is apparently telling you (in a round about way) that
it will change some day.(when MS changes Excel again)
To add a little more confusion, there is another file transfer
that is built in to Access. That's different than the Excel "plug in".
I have always wondered who composes those documents.
