Joe is arguing two separate things. Don't get caught in that misdirection.

Did you actually not read what I wrote in that email, either? IBM switched
out the name for the hardware server component from System i5 to System i
somewhere in April or so 2007. At the time they did that, the name "System
i" was already being used by IBM to define the platform, so changing the
server name had no impact on the brand name being used.

FWIW, I am not about the "right" name, just the ONE name for our world. The
one name that IBM uses has been System i from 2006, and late last year, they
started using i5/OS more and more. That part is easy, and if you want to go
back and read every word I wrote, you will see that.

Unless you want to use the wrong email in the wrong argument, then ignore
that you did.
