Can printers attached to a BOS unit appear to the system as a
LAN-attached printer without all of the APPC crap of the Perle
controllers, including for IPDS printers as well as SCS?

If so, I'd be very interested. Corporate (where the i5 is) wants to
get all of the remote site (I'm at one of those) off the Perle
controllers (or other APPC device). If we could use twinax printers
through a device which would make them all appear to the i5 as an
equivalent LAN-attached printer, that be great.

Four of our twinax-attached printers are straight SCS. (Two are
defined as 4245-T12 and two as 3812-1.) All of the rest are IPDS with
AFP(*NO).
