I do not believe that a computer can generate a random number. There,
I said it. Hopefully you can prove me wrong.


You can find a thread on this in the archives, with such heavyweights as
Leif Svalgaard hashing it out:

There's a reference in the thread to chapter 22 of Leif's book, but I'm
not sure if his site is still up anymore.
