You know, this is probably another reason to not skip upgrades and just
save all your crud from an old release and restore it on a machine that is
running a newer release.

The interesting thing is that the machine this object was created on was a
CISC machine (obviously) and it is long gone. Our development machine, which
is now on an 870 LPAR, has been through just about every bit of hardware and
release level that have been around for the last 15 years. The development
hardware itself went through CISC->RISC when it was a standalone machine, as
well as at least 2 more footprints, before it ended up on the first
release/hardware that supported LPAR's (and we've had two footprints since
then to replace the LPAR, and just about to go POWER 6...)

So, I don't know that restoring to a newer release would have helped :-(
