First of all I'd like to say I appreciate your getting my point and not
taking it poorly.
Now, I'd like to argue a few points.

One, your 20% is a poor WAG at best. I'm willing to bet that a lot more
than 20% of the systems out there have adopted TCP/IP.

No, you do not "have to buy it to try it". But I'd have a project in mind
before I preceded down the 70 day countdown until key expiration and
loaded it up.

Granted IBM has done some implementations VERY poorly. Like the concept
of phasing in support for IPV6. What's with only supporting IPV6 in some
applications? Who the heck is going to want to use an IPV6 interface for
FTP but still have a IPV4 interface for telnet?
