I agree about the price - that would be a deal killer. If you're looking to do something in this area, it would probably depend on the size of the group. A smaller group might allow you to go off the beaten path and find something considerably cheaper.

A conference the size of Common would present a larger challenge.

I would be more than happy to run events in the NJ area - but a quick
look at hotels gives me a price of $220+ per night - and that's for a
Holiday Inn! Given the complaints here about the Opryland pricing do
you really think that kind of price for a significantly tackier
property would fly?

My target price is $100 - $125 a night - I can't see much prospect of
getting anything in a conference hotel at that price in the NJ area.
