Hmm! Guess I like top-posting because I don't like scrolling down to find the reply - had not really thought about it and never knew there was a term-of-art for this. But I almost always trim excess at the bottom - or put responses in-line. Trimming at the bottom is easy - put the cursor where you want to start trimming and do a Ctrl-Shift-End to select and then Delete - but don't try that in Notes!! What kind of non-standard clap-trap is Lotus doing in there? Sorry - hit my rant button!

_try_ to trim them and set the subject accordingly.

I also _try_ to bottom-post after trimming irrelevant text.
