Once again I had yet another *MGTCOL object get flagged as damaged in
library QMGTC2. Opened up yet another pmr. This time on the phone with:
- Save/Restore
- Internals
- Management Central
S/R gent was basically saying follow the freaking message - delete it and
restore from backup - can't you freaking read?
When I insisted on escalation because I'm not too fond of damaged objects
happening very frequently in my os he brought on the internals guy. He
cared a little more - very little though. They brought in Management
Central. He could care less, but he'd have to be working for Microsoft
then. When I recited my litany of pmr numbers he started to care ever so
slightly more. But I had to leave for that funeral.
Waiting on the call back.
Oh and part of the discussion was something to the effect of "what were
you doing wrong?". My reply was something like "gee, that always puts a
warm fuzzy in someone's heart".
