hmmmm.... I am not clear about your point, here, Rob?
I took Trevor's remarks to mean that we programmers/designers need to consider the idea of offloading the data entry to the actual consumer/user, i.e. someone not on *our* company payroll.
If so, doesn't he have a pretty good point? In today's World most people that would buy their jacket from Land's End also know how to click the box, pick the color, spin the qty button. Why not let them do it? Why insist on repeating their requests, adding in the normal human errors (fixable at *our* cost)? Let them make the mistakes, not us. win-win for everyone, imho.
