Over on this side of the pond we have a fellow called "Murphy" who would

laugh at your worst case scenario. Murphy would say that the surge from

one power source (like your own oil fired generator that where I went to

college had) would fry your UPS, blow your breaker on your rack, fry
your
CEC, jump through your other power supply out to the other power source
and start frying their equipment holding you liable for their equipment.

That I haven't seen. But don't think you've begin to skim the icing off

of worst possible scenario - think of the fellow (with 12 kids and 5
lawyers for brothers) on life support relying on the other power source.
