Vern & Elvis,

At IPL then. Just what I needed to know.

Fully understand the difference between Logical and Physical reads.

I'm trying to do an analysis of which tables in several applications are hit and how much over time and compare/contrast that with the tables that have been used in most of the queries that have been used here, in order to get an idea of which tables to map and replicate in a Data Warehouse (actually at this point an ODS and one Data Mart) using DataPropagator. I don't want to have to map and maintain all the tables in all the applications (about a thousand). I predict what I'll find is those tables that should be mapped and synced from Production to the DW will be somewhere between 50-100. But, I'd like to have some more empirical data, if possible, upon which to make a judgement of which tables to include in DataPropagator.

BTW, DataPropagator and the Replication Center seem to be a good product set.

Thanks much,

Dave
