Nope, PC is 192.168.1.11 and i5 was 192.168.1.15.

Like I said, it was working great, then poof.. my 5250 session dissapeared
and now it won't reconnect.

Maybe I should IPL? How do I manually IPL?

Hi Brad

That sounds awfully familiar :\ Did you specify a different
network for the
LAN Console addresses ? Is the LAN Console PC also connected to
your network
? I found it's a heck of a lot more reliable if the LAN Console
network is a
separate sub net. Try disconnecting the PC's connection to the rest of the
network.

Evan Harris

Evan,

I have it connected to a switch. LAN console was working great, then my
session dissapeared and now it won't connect again.. status stays at
""connecting console".... ugh! So until I get that figured out,
I'm stuck.
