Chuck, et al,

I'm somewhat confused ... all I want to give the users of the ESRI GIS applications is a configuration from their application to DB2/400, using ODBC or CLI or whatever works best, not another emulator, nor data transfer capabilities nor any of the other CA functions and features. I'm aware I can create an install to limit what they can install and use but it doesn't provide enough granularity on limiting features of the install. Besides, while we have an i5 CA license, I'm not sure if the license allows for massive installs. Clarification and guidance please.

Thanks,

Dave
