I've got to say, running a PRTDSKINF *LIB without running a PRTDSKINF *SYS
first is rather a disservice. PRTDSKINF *SYS may show you that you have a
lot of objects in temporary space, or (like in our case) "user
directories" or what many refer to as the IFS.
Apparently temporary space is hot as IBM has a special topic on it for
"Recommended Fixes" at
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/recommendedfixes

I currently have 50GB tied up in Temporary space. Granted that's less
than 1% on my system. But on her system, Oh My.
I have 26GB tied up in "Other IBM libraries".
And a mere 3.6TB tied up in "User Directories".
Luckily I have less than 1GB in "Folders and Documents".
