Your link pointed to the same Cloudscape document I'd spent several hours
puzzling over last night. I'm kinda new to RPG, only having used it since
1978, but the concept of an integrated database kinda rubbed off on me and
so I'm now having to make the paradigm shift of connecting a generic
development environment to a generic data source. I got lost in the details
of .jar files and com.ibm.SomeDatabaseDriver and was hoping someone could
help me sort out whatever syntax error I was making.

If you ever want to try RPG for application development, you can establish
a database connection by placing an "F" spec in your source member ;-)
