SVN is cool stuff and works with Visual Studio, Eclipse, Windows Explorer
and soon with iSeries source members :-)

And another that we have needed recently for our creative staff -
Dreamweaver. You can buy a commercial Mac/Windows Dreamweaver SVN package
for $60!
http://www.dreamweaver-extensions.net/index.php/SVN-for-Dreamweaver--Windows
-and-Macintosh/. This means you could more easily work with them whether you
are doing JSF or RPG-CGI.

If you do more with this, let me know. I would love to use this
methodology instead of the SoftLanding approach for future source code
control on our iSeries stuff.

Wow. So the writing is REALLY on the wall then eh? :-) I plan to use this
approach also if it turns out to be successful (successful=easy to use). I
will respond back to the group with what I get accomplished.

I should probably get partial credit :-)

control on our iSeries stuff.

Another thought: Would probably need some sort of way to have an SEU
option for Editing/Committing a source member in one step. Maybe the
same for getting current version from source control and editing. Lots
of possibilities !!

BTW: I already wrapped the SVNKIT java code with a CL command, so you
can concentrate on getting the source code in and out of the IFS and I
will work the SVN end.
