What type of connection do you have the corporate head quarters? Are
you running QOS? What are the various PVC speeds at the corporate head
and the port/PVC's at each remote location? Looks at the routers at
each location to see what type of errors you are getting on the routers.

Subject: Communications Question

This might be a bit off topic but it does affect our iSeries
connectivity
and there is a good sampling of communications experts here..

8 of our 10 branches are connected via a Frame Relay network (the other
two
are full T1's). All the frame sites obviously come in to the main site
here.
Recently we have had one site dropping and the telco is saying they see
a
bottleneck at the head in with red frame discards for this site and that
is
causing them to drop.

What we are having a hard time with is why is 1 out of 8 having this
problem
? It is NEVER any of the others and this one branch is about the same
size 4
other branches. There is also one much bigger and one little bigger and
one
much smaller.

We aren't disputing the bottleneck but do not understand why or how it
could
be picking on this one. They recently moved into a new building and
initially they had two bad Smartjacks, bad cabling, etc.
