That is exactly what I expected in my program. I am getting the message that 24.00.00 is invalid.

(Obviously I am *not* doing what I am saying I am doing. Watson's Rule in such situations: Break it worse. Maybe then you'll understand it. )

Thank you all for the help. When I do find out what I a doing wrong it will be a deep secret, never to be revealed to sentient men.
