True ... but a OS flaw can (theoretically) be exploited regardless of
what application is running... and it could effect EVERYONE who hasn't
patched it.

Just because some design aspects of i5/OS are foolproof doesn't make it
any more difficult to create insecure applications.

Very true ... security should be a primary concern of everyone deploying
network based applications.

And at least I don't run i5/OS to run i5/OS - I run it to run
applications.

And nobody runs Windows just to run windows ... they run Windows to play
Solitaire. :)
