Windows and *nix apps CAN be written using techniques either similar to or
analagous to those that can be used in i5/OS. So, this can be a valid
statement only if you accept it as valid for all systems.

This is simply untrue.

The buffer overrun exploits that allow you to raise your security level and
thus take over a machine are not possible in i5/OS.

Anwyay, you can argue it all you want, Patrick. I'm not the least bit
interested in a conversation that equates Windows security to i5/OS. I was
pretty sure that's where you were going with this, and I've said my piece.
It's no longer a constructive conversation for me.
